A wonderful way to monitor someone when you need to know they are trying to get up from their bed. As soon as their weight is removed from the pad, it sends a wireless signal to the pager/alarm which can be up to 100 feet or 30 meters from the pad. You can even take into the garden or in the garage and still receive the signal (always test thoroughly before use to make sure that you receive the signal). If you patient rolls over in bed, the system will not sound. It is only when they lift their weight from the pad completely. Note: If you patient is particularly light in weight, we recommend that you place the pad under their bottom.
Wireless, cordfree bed pad and bed exit alarm, means there is no alarm noise in patient’s room
Pager/Alarm can be up to 100 feet (30 meters) from sensor pad and patient. And Carer will hear the alert immediately, because the Pager/Alarm is with them.
Place the long term sensor pad under patient’s back or bottom. When they sit up, lifting their weight from the pad, the pad sends a wireless signal to the pager/alarm which will start to chime to notify the Carer.
If the patient sits back onto the pad, the system resets itself and is ready to work the next time they get off the pad.
By placing the pad in the patient’s middle back area, you will get the earliest alert that they are intending to get out of their bed. Alarm uses 3 ‘C’ batteries (not included) and system comes with an Austin disposable pad.
